Friends of Kamalani

The Friends of Kamalani & Lydgate Park is a non profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Lydgate State Park.

Each year, we come together as a volunteer community to observe National Make a Difference Day in late October, and Earth Day in the Spring.

We also work together ever Saturday to clean the beach at Morgan Ponds

BE SURE TO JOIN US FOR
Make A Difference Day as we CELEBRATE the 25th Anniversary of Kamalani Playground

Make A Difference Day

Listen as several of the people involved in the building of the playground share why it means so much to our community!

Each and every week we also have a Saturday Beach Clean Up at the park’s swimming pond – Morgan’s Pond. We meet near the lifeguard tower at 8:30 a.m and work until about 10:30-11:00 depending on the days work.

Here’s a video to give you an idea of what we do each week for Saturday Beach Clean-up.
